Somatics teaches that most of these conditions are symptoms of functional problems that

Imagine there was a simple practice you could do that would alleviate your symptoms so you could avoid medications or invasive medical procedures.

About This Workshop

The way to resolve physical and functional issues causing pain is to address the root cause.

 

You can learn how to regain control of your body with some simple Somatic movements designed to release persistent muscle tension.

​

The Somatic practice involves slow, gentle movements that anyone can do. These relaxing movements are necessary to awaken the sensory-motor system and restore

proper muscle function. The result is a body that moves well and ages gracefully!

​

In this 3-hour workshop you will learn:

  • the most common muscle reflex patterns that you may be “locked” in

  • how to resolve sensory motor amnesia that is causing restriction of movement,
    misalignment and functional limitations

  • an alternative to stretching that incorporates the brain and nervous system to
    re-educate the body

  • several Somatic neuromuscular movements and exercises that you can do at home
